Interview with Jason Allington
Jason Allington, board member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) talks candidly and fearlessly about his own suicide attempts, his years of struggle with depression and self loathing despite all outward signs of success in his life, how he viewed his decision to take his own life and the effect that action would have on his loved ones, and why suicide is such a pernicious threat. It just seems like such a good idea at the time. Jason tells us how he came through his multi-decade ordeal and how others who feel that suicide is their only option can change - and save - their own lives.
